Transit Strike IN NYC

Well the Strike is on.

There is no way I can get to work from the Bronx to Manhattan have you seen this?

Downtown traffic on Second Avenue is at a stand still up to the checkpoint on 96th St., top of frame, where police officers are allowing only cars with at least four passengers to continue into the heart of the city, Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, in New York. Subways and buses ground to a halt Tuesday morning as transit workers walked off the job at the height of the holiday shopping and tourist season, forcing millions of riders to find new ways to get around. AMAZING!! I can't believe I missed all that! >:( It's so much fun to tango with the subway system when it's at its screwiest....like when it snows on the F line. Fun, Fun FUN! I can only imagine the fun that all those people in that congestion were having. New swear words must have been invented on that day. I'm anxious to hear em.
